Good things sometimes come in small packages. An amazingly compact 2-channel amplifier that packs some punch. Use it to overpower your tweeters, to easily add mids to your 2-way front stage or when space is at premium to power your midbass or components, this little guy does it all. It can even run your IB subs with its 250W bridged at 4 Ohm. Its output power doesn't vary with the power supply voltage, so it doesn't mess up your perfectly tuned balance - courtesy of its regulated power supply stage. Ground lifted input to avoid those pesky alt noises present in some lesser systems. All in a box with less footprint than a CD.
It even has a consistent black brushed aluminum look with the DST 2nd gen amplifiers so the combination works very consistently.

Our own power measurements:
The graph below shows our measurements of Power vs Total Harmonic Distortion + Noise (THD+N). The X (horizontal) axis shows power in Watts, while the Y (vertical) axis shows the THD+N in Percent:
Output power RMS at the best THD+N to power ratio (the knee of the graph):
- 2x 58W at 0.056% THD+N on 4 Ohm
- 2x 106W at 0.68% THD+N on 2 Ohm (running 2 Ohm results in higher THD+N on this tiny amp)
- 1x 124W at 0.1% THD+N on 4 Ohm bridged
Output power RMS at 1% THD+N (industry standard):
- 2x 102W on 4 Ohm
- 2x 116W on 2 Ohm
- 1x 195W on 4 Ohm bridged
Max output power RMS at 10% THD+N:
These are largely irrelevant sound wise, but good for comparison to what some other manufacturers list as power numbers.
- 2x 143W on 4 Ohm
- 2x 170W on 2 Ohm
- 1x 275W on 4 Ohm bridged (we couldn't reach clipping in this test due to the automatic gain reduction failsafe this amplifier has to prevent speaker damage)
All measurements were performed at 14.4V. The peak power will be slightly more at higher voltage and slightly less at lower voltage (for example running at 12V results in 80W at 4Ohm 1% THD+N).
All measurements performed with all channels loaded on resistive load at 14.4 Vdc power input, measured via JL Audio MAX calibrated in REW software. These are not absolute - we do them for our own verification of performance and for comparison to other amplifiers we test. The results may not be directly comparable to other testing methodologies on the Internet.
