The QK1 silk dome tweeters continue the solid build of the QK series - housings from die cast then machined aluminum, hardmounted spade terminals on the back allowing for direct soldering of leads or just using spades - no integrated wires to worry about damaging here. Integrated grilles and a precisely machined front lip finish them off. Black anodized of course, to compliment the rest of the series' subtle styling. These tweeters can play very low at 750Hz Fs, allowing them to blend with the midranges smoothly - no dips and rolloff in the crossover region.
These can be used in 2-way with the QK6 midbass pair or in a 3-way configuration with the addition of the QK3 midranges. Of course, capable tweeters like these can be used as an upgrade to any 2-way or 3-way system which requires smooth sounding and well blended tweeters.
